Pybus Point Lodge on Admiralty Island is a true Alaskan wilderness adventure. Salmon and halibut are plentiful in the depths surrounding the beautiful mountain peaks on this Alaskan wilderness. Come enjoy the site of a whale as it sounds near your boat. Watch the Eagles soar overhead as you lounge by the evening fire.

You can't help but relax in the tranquility of the pybus point Lodge experience.  The calm waters surrounding Admiralty Island and Pybus Point Lodge provide the finest salt and freshwater fishing areas in North America. King, silver, pink and chum salmon readily attack bait and artificial lures as you troll or mooch around local points and sharp drop-offs.

Also in abundance are Halibut, Ling cod, yelloweye and over 20 other bottom dwelling species. Halibut are not only plentiful at pybus point Lodge... There big! Many are landed over 100, 200, even 300 pounds!  Hard fighting Dolly Varden, available in great numbers from local streams, await both fly and spin fishermen all season long. Other nearby waters, accessed via boat and our Cessna 206 floatplane, also host rainbow and cutthroat trout, and large migratory runs of silver, pink and chum salmon. 

The accommodations.  You will feel right at home in any of the cozy log cabins at pybus point Lodge. Each fully carpeted, two-bedroom cabin features stunning harbor and mountain views, a living room, fireplace, private bath and shower, and an unlimited supply of hot water.  Our comfortable main Lodge, built from old -- growth pine logs, offers all the warmth and modern conveniences of home. The lounge, complete with satellite TV and VCR, is a great place to discuss today's adventures and
swaps stories about the big ones that didn't get away. And, you're sure to enjoy the tasty meals served in our spacious, family style dining room, where hearty breakfast and delicious dinners satisfy even the biggest of appetites. 

Unlimited outdoor adventure.  While salt water and freshwater fishing remains our primary activity, many other outdoor adventures await our guests. Anglers and non anglers alike enjoy the endless opportunities to view and photograph our breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. As home to the world's largest concentration of Humpback whales, nesting bald eagles, brown bears per square mile and and countless other natural wonders, Admiralty Island is certainly lives up to its regal name. Guided natural history/wildlife/photography tours are always available, or try exploring on your own. Hiking trails and self -- guided skiffs make for great after-hours fun.  

Hunting at pybus point.  Not only do we provide great fishing at pybus point, but we also offer you some great hunting opportunities.   Some of the hunts we offer include.
