WOW!  That one word comes very close to summarizing the 2004-2005 season we've just wrapped here at Angler's Inn.  The past season was simply the best ever at El Salto Lake in both the number and size of fish caught.  Every time we thought things might slow down, we wound up watching them pick up again.

As great as El Salto has been in recent years, who could imagine one man catching 27 bass of 10 pounds or more in just six days?  Les Melton, of West Virginia, did it this past season.  There were countless others who also wound up boating the best bass of their lives.  El Salto is a fisherman's dream come true.

A quick glance at the immediate past is a great way to predict what the future holds.  Our 2005-2006 season kicks off in October.  We're poised and ready to beat the records we saw set last time around.  Bass grow fast in El Salto Lake.  The thousands of 8 pounders our guests caught and released in the past season will soon be 9 or 10 pounds.  Have you got your first 10 pounder yet?  If you haven't, better make plans now to join us.  Look at what we've got waiting for you down here south of the border during the coming season.

October, November, and December offer the best top water action of the year.  To kick things off we're offering Fall Special package.  Book a standard 4 night/3 day fishing stay and we're offering a free extra day of fishing or three free nights at the Sun Spree Resort in Mazatlan.  Perhaps your wife or gal friend doesn't fish.  Why not let her use the three free nights at Mazatlan while you "take 'em off the top" at El Salto?  Either way - you can't miss!

Attention Fly Fishermen!  The fall season always offers the best action of the year for fly anglers.  El Salto is at full pool and bass chase forage fish up into the shallows.  It's a perfect set up for users of the long rod.  We're offering a special Angler's Inn package for fly fishermen.  For a limited time, fly fishermen get a "2 for 1-1/2 special".  You pay full price, but your companion gets a 50% discount.  Remember - this is for fly anglers only.  to qualify you'll be required to use only fly fishing gear.

And here's a special for you fathers.  Does your son or daughter love to fish?  El Salto provides a chance to watch your loved one's eyes sparkle with delight.  Lots of Dads did exactly that this past season.  To make it even easier, we're offering a special "Deal for Dads" during October, November and December.  You pay full price, but your son or daughter gets a 50% discount!  Don't miss this chance to share treasured memories with your loved ones.

Celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas in a special way!  For this coming season only, Angler's Inn is offering a special promotion during the holidays.  Book a 4 Night/3 Day fishing package at Angler's Inn on Lake El Salto at full price and get  your companion's reservation at half price.  You'll enjoy the traditional Thanksgiving Day turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

During the coming season we're offering two different packages.  One is our Mobile Suites Packages.  Anglers who book this visit will stay in fully equipped trailers behind the Anglers Inn dining room.  These trailer units have everything you need including bath and toiler facilities, air conditioning and an in-room phone.  Because of their location they do not offer a view of the lake.  The charge for a standard 4 Night/3 Day package in these mobile units will be $1695. (All prices are subject to change)

Guests also have the option to book our Deluxe Package.  Those who do not stay in rooms overlooking the beautiful El Salto Lake.  Each of these rooms has a private bath, lots of storage space, private phones and television.  We're also offering guests who book our Deluxe Package an additional half-day of fishing.  You can fish on the afternoon of your arrival or in the morning of your day of departure.  The price for the Deluxe Package featuring 4 nights and 3 days of fishing is $1945. (All prices subject to change)

All New Customized Couples Packages.  Choose the package that is right for you!

Our Platinum Couple Package gives you the option of customizing your own itinerary.  You have the opportunity to spend 5 nights at Anglers Inn Lodge and fish Lake El Salto for 4 days.  If she likes to fish, she can fish any fishing session she desires.  Additional to your visit to Anglers Inn on Lake El Salto, you get one night at the Sun Spree Beach Resort in Mazatlan.  Or if you prefer, you can choose to spend 4 Night/ 3 Day at Anglers Inn and two nights in Mazatlan.  You decide!

The Deluxe Couple Package is a 4 Night/3 Day getaway to Anglers Inn on Lake El Salto.  She also has the opportunity to join you in any of the fishing sessions she desires.  Our Non-Fishing Companion Couple Package pampers her while you are out there tangling with those El Salto tackle-busting big mouth.  Included in all couple's packages she'll receive a massage, a manicure and a pedicure.

The many anglers who've made repeat visits to Anglers Inn know we're constantly upgrading our facilities and accommodations.  You'll see additional evidence of that during the 2005-2006 season.  Here are just a few examples of what we're talking about.

We've installed a well and now have our own water purification system throughout Anglers Inn Lodge.

We've installed TV with satellite programming and DVD in our deluxe units.  Laptop computers are now available to our customers.  We've expanded our Anglers Inn spa.  Find out how great it is to have a massage after a full day of fishing!
